The Mycotox Profile is a urine test to assess a patient’s mould exposure by assessing mycotoxins (metabolites produced by fungi which can infest buildings, vehicles and food). The test screens for eleven different mycotoxins from 40 species of mould in one urine sample. Using the power of advanced mass spectrometry (MS/MS) the Mycotox Profile can detect lower levels of fungal toxins, and so is optimal for follow-up testing to ensure that detoxification therapies have been successful.
